Why Jeuveau™?

Jeuveau is derived from the French word nouveau, which means new or modern.

Jeuveau™ is a prescription medication injected into muscles and FDA-approved to be used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, the glabellar lines, or the ‘11’s’.  Jeuveau is a proven molecular structure, a 900 kDA purified botulinum toxin type A and made through a Hi-Pure™ technology manufacturing process.
Jeuveau was clinically developed for aesthetics, dedicated exclusively as an injectable treatment to temporarily smooth and diminish frown lines to give a more refreshed, youthful look, naturally.
Neurotoxins, like Jeuveau, traditionally have been used as an anti-aging procedure after wrinkles, but have become increasingly popular as a preventative measure against the onset of aging. Men and women in their 20’s add neurotoxin treatments to their skincare regimen to prevent wrinkles from ever forming.
During your consultation, we will address your goals and concerns, and determine the appropriate treatment plan for the areas you wish to address. Please discuss any medication and supplements you take, as well as any disease that affects your muscles and nerves, any allergies to botulinum toxin product, or side effects from any other botulinum toxin in the past and last date of receiving any botulinum toxin product.
A complete Jeuveau treatment takes approximately five to ten minutes. A syringe containing Jeuveau is injected in the skin or underlying muscle with small amounts of fluid. This is repeated until all areas are treated. No anesthesia is required for a treatment.
When the treatment is over, you are ready to go. There is no downtime with Jeuveau. However, as a precaution to keep the product from migrating from the injection site, we ask that you do not lie flat for at least four hours post-treatment and do not exercise for the rest of the day.
You may begin to see visible smoothing in as early as three to four days. The full effects can occur as early as one or two weeks, or up to 30 days. The typical duration of effect can be up to three to four months and sometimes but may last longer or shorter in individual patients.

Jeuveau FAQ. 3 Things to Know!

Question 1.
Why do people refer to it as “Newtox”?
Jeuveau (the newest neurotoxin) and Botox (the first neurotoxin), both a type of botulinum type A, are used to relax the muscles that cause frown lines. Both are also used to address fine lines and wrinkles. Patients may gain a preference one over the other from experience and outcome.
Question 2.
Does it matter who does my injection?
Neurotoxins are FDA-approved and it is critical you only see a highly trained licensed injector who is familiar with facial anatomy, advanced techniques and medical conditions that might prevent you from having the treatment. An untrained, unlicensed injector can administer incorrect dosages and treat in the wrong areas, resulting in an undesirable and unnatural outcome.
Question 3.
Does getting Jeuveau hurt?
Patients describe typically that the injections with the very small needles as a pinch and are generally very well tolerated.
